Richmond is fifteen miles west of Eaton across the Indiana line, and it is one of the busiest territories we work. Newer neighborhoods on the north and east sides bring the opposite problem, fast-growing silver maple and Bradford pear planted thirty years ago that are now splitting at weak unions. Those we can often save with structural pruning if we get to them before the split runs.
